Lenovo to launch new computer

Lenovo, one of the world's leading laptop manufacturers, is developing a new device that features two displays, one of which is transparent. The device, codenamed Yoga Book 9i, is expected to launch in 2024 as a premium 2-in-1 laptop that can also function as a tablet, a presentation device, or a dual-screen workstation.

The Yoga Book 9i will have two 13.3-inch OLED touchscreens with a resolution of 2.8K (2,800 x 1,800) each. The main display will be similar to other laptops, while the secondary display will be able to switch between opaque and transparent modes. When the device is folded,

the secondary display will act as a keyboard, a touchpad, or a drawing pad. When the device is unfolded, the secondary display will show additional content, such as apps, widgets, or notifications.

The transparent mode will allow users to see through the screen and interact with the physical environment, such as taking notes on paper or scanning documents.

The Yoga Book 9i will be powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. It will also have three USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, a full HD IR+RGB camera, and a fingerprint scanner. The device will run on Windows 11, the latest version of Microsoft's operating system, which will support multiple monitors and touch gestures. Lenovo will also include a Bluetooth mouse and an attachable keyboard for users who prefer physical input devices.

The Yoga Book 9i is designed to offer a versatile and innovative user experience, as well as a high-performance and sleek laptop. Lenovo claims that the device will be the first of its kind in the market, and that it will set a new standard for 2-in-1 laptops. The device is expected to cost $1,999, which is higher than other 2-in-1 laptops, but lower than foldable screen laptops, which are still in development. The Yoga Book 9i will be available for pre-order from Best Buy starting from June 16, 2024.
